2023 News
- 4 new bachelor students attended to our laboratory. We say “welcome” to Ko, Rikito, Mizuto and Naoki. We believe that they will do nice research in this laboratory .
- Atsushi attended to the 9th International Symposium toward the Future of Advanced Researches in Shizuoka University, March 2023. He presented his study with title of “An experimental and numerical study on solid/liquid phase change valves for the use in microfluidics applications”.
- Mobedi attended to the conference of “Recent Advances in Modelling and Analysis of Thermal and Energy Systems” hold in National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, Mangalore, India May 10 – 12, 2023. He gave a talk on “Classification of PCM Heat Exchangers” on May 12th.
2022 News
- Mobedi attended to a conference of Energy, Fuels and Environment 2022 (EFE 2022), Cracow, Poland, September 20-23, 2022 (Online) as Keynote speaker and presented a study with title of “Classification of PCM Heat Exchangers for thermal energy storage`.
- Zulfa and Hilmi (Two international students from Indonesia and Turkey) could come to Japan and they joined our laboratory.
- The study of Takuma-Wang and Mobedi was presented in ISTP 32 hosted by Tianjin University (China) by Dr. Wang.
- 4 new undergraduate students joined our laboratory. Their names were added in to the members section of this website.
- Tomy and Takuma graduated and received their master degrees. They could successfully defense their researches. Now, they work in two prestigious companies in Japan.
2021 News
- Tomy and Takuma attended to JSSUME2020+1 symposium hosted by Nagasaki University, Japan and presented their studies successfully.
- 4 new students (One master and 3 bachelor) attended to our laboratory. The new list of laboratory members are updated including new students (6/21/2021).
2020 News
- Wang attended to PhD defense exam and passed. He received PhD degree and returned to China. Kubra TAS passed from Master thesis exam and received master degree in Mechanical Engineering, now she works in industry. Congratulations. (30/9/2020)
- Mobedi and Wang will attended to the conference of 30th International Symposium on Transport Phenomena (ISTP 30), 1 – 3 November, 2019, Halong, Vietnam. PhD candidate presented a study of our laboratory with title of ” local thermal non-equilibrium model for analyzing heat transfer in a closed cell porous medium”.
2019 News
- Mobedi and Wang will attended to 7th Asian Symposium on Computational Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow in 3 ~ 7 September 2019 in Tokyo and presented two papers. PhD candidate Wang presented a paper with title of “A numerical study on effect of size and number of cells of a porous medium on validation of volume averaged results”. Mobedi presented a paper from the study of Mater student Guray Caket as “A numerical and experimental study on determination of interfacial heat transfer coefficient and thermal dispersion of a 3D cubic lattice metal frame”.
- Wang attended to Japan 56. Thermal Engineering conference and presented his paper with title of “Pore scale modeling of melting of phase change materials in a 3D cubic Lattice Metal Frame” successfully (5/29/2019)
