TEAM

Started in 2016

The lab was created in 2016 and welcome its first undergraduate students in 2018. I am looking for highly motivated individuals to join the lab. I will generally post opportunities as they arise, but feel free to contact me about potential opportunities (dur.gael at shizuoka.ac.jp).

Dr. Gaël DUR (Lab PI)

Associate Professor of the Creative Science Course, I am working in close collaboration with the Department of Geoscience of Shizuoka University’s  Faculty of Science. My research interests focus on the development of individual-based model to predicting the effects of environmental and anthropogenic stressors on aquatic ecosystems at fine to broad spatial and temporal scales. I completed my PhD at the University of Lille (France) and National Taiwan Ocean University (Taiwan) in 2009. From then, I conducted post-doctoral fellowships in Japan at the University of Shiga Prefecture, in France at the INRA Thonon and the Wimereux Marine Station of Lille University.
