Our paper on “IR cavity ringdown spectroscopy and density functional theory calculation of pyrrole – diethyl ketone clusters: Impacts of carbon-chain flexibility on the diversity of N-H…O=C hydrogen bond” was accepted in Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics (DOI: 10.1039/d3cp01466e).

Visiting Ito Campus of Kyushu University

Prof. Matsumoto has visited Prof. Terasaki (Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science, Kyushu University) on June 30. I excitedly enjoyed the laboratory tours of Terasaki Laboratory and Onda Laboratory. Surprisingly on that day, I was so happy to have an opportunity to participate in the special lecture by Prof. Tatsuya Tsukuda (Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science, The University of Tokyo).

5th Joint Research Prize

Prof. Matsumoto won the 5th Joint Research Prize from “Network Joint Research Center for Materials and Devices”. He attended the award ceremony in Centennial Hall of Kyushu University School of Medicine on June 29. The research topic for this prize is “Infrared Study on Aromatic Charge Resonance Complex”, which was collaborated with Prof. Masaaki Fujii (Director of Laboratory for Chemistry and Life Science, Institute of Innovative Research, Tokyo Institute of Technology).
