Our submission to “The Bilateral program on Open Partnership Joint Research Project” was successfully accepted from JSPS. Our project title is “Study on charge resonance interaction in aromatic dimers and clusters probed by infrared spectroscopy”. The project team consists of Berlin Tech. (Prof. Otto Dopfer), Ochanomizu U. (Prof. Mitsuhiko Miyazaki), and Shizuoka U.
Installation of new laser
New Nd:YAG laser “Surelite EX” from Continuum was newly installed. This laser will be used to excite IR OPO/OPA system, which will be shipped from Laser Vision, US next month.
Installation of new optical table
New optical table for Nd:YAG laser & IR OPO/OPA system was installed. The table was purchased from Nippon Boushin Industry co., ltd.
52nd Annual Meeting of Union of Chemistry-Related Societies in Chubu Area
Arisu Hirota (M1) has provided an oral presentation “Infrared spectroscopic study on dihydrogen-bonded structures of acetylene-alkylsilane clusters” in 52nd Annual Meeting of Union of Chemistry-Related Societies in Chubu Area, on 31 October 2021.
JSPS Core-to-Core Program on “Molecular Recognition Mechanism between Flexible Molecules”
Prof. Matsumoto has joined as a research member in the JSPS Core-to-Core Program on “Molecular Recognition Mechanism between Flexible Molecules”. This project consists of Japanese, German and French molecular cluster research teams. The team is coordinated by Prof. Masaaki Fujii (Tokyo Tech., Japan), Prof. Otto Dopfer (TU Berlin, Germany) and Prof. Anne Zehnacker-Rentien (U. Paris-Saclay). We proceed IR spectroscopy of charge resonance aromatic dimers and clusters together with Prof. Otto Dopfer, Berlin.
