    • 沈み込み帯深部の海洋地殻起源の高圧変成岩の挙動を調べるために,カリフォルニアに露出する青色片岩の変形微細構造と結晶方位ファブリックを調べた.青色片岩の主要構成鉱物である藍閃石とローソン石について,ローソン石は剛体回転挙動していたのに対して,藍閃石は転位クリープしながら動的再結晶や動的回復しながら流動したことを明らかにした.さらに結晶方位ファブリックの集中度から藍閃石のモード組成が高い部分に歪が局所化しやすい傾向があり,地震波異方性も藍閃石の効果が大きくなることを示した.
