On Sept. 8th, His Excellency, the Romanian Ambassador to Japan, Mr. Ovidiu Dranga, and the Economic Counsellor of the Romanian Embassy, Mr. Adrian Ionescu paid a visit to Shizuoka University, Hamamatsu Campus, and had a brief tour of our Si Nanodevices Lab. During this visit, many ideas were discussed to enhance the student/staff exchange and double-degree programs between Shizuoka University and partner institutions in Romania.
We also shared information on the history of Shizuoka University as the birthplace of all-electric television system (イ) and the history of the Research Institute of Electronics as a key unit for research-based collaborations with Romania.
Thank you for your visit and looking forward to seeing Romanian partners visiting again.
