The 21st edition of the International Conference on Global Research and Education (Inter-Academia 2024) was successfully held in Warsaw and Pultusk on Sept. 4-6, organized by a team from Warsaw University of Technology. This is an important platform for scientific interactions, research collaborations, and student exchanges between Shizuoka University and many Universities and Institutes in Central and Eastern Europe.

It was a pleasure for our group to attend this event and extend the interactions within this Inter-Academia community. Our group delivered also 3 talks:
(1) D. Moraru, T. Suzuki, T. Hirano, D. Alfafa, and A. Udhiarto: “Challenges and insights from electrostatic potential mapping of semiconductor nanodevices”
(2) S. Masui, R. Asai, B. A. Rianto, and D. Moraru: “Band-to-band tunneling spectroscopy of energy states in ultrathin silicon-on-insulator pn diode”
(3) R. Asai, S. Masui, S. Miyagawa, and D. Moraru: “Study of stability diagrams of codoped Si nano-transistors”

Based on the poster discussions and short oral presentations, both Reon Asai and Shun Masui (M2 students) received the Inter-Academia 2024 Young Research Awards from the organizing committee. Congratulations for the achievements based on hard work for analysis and characterization of our nanodevices.

Many thanks to the organizers at WUT, including the Chairman Prof. Ryszard Jablonski, the support from the leadership of WUT by Prof. Adam Wozniak and the smooth organizing by the team led by Prof. Sergiusz Luczak.

Looking forward to future editions of Inter-Academia!
