Congratulations to Mrs. Luminița Popa (Huțușoru) for successfully defending her PhD thesis entitled “Studies of thin films and nanostructures oriented towards electronics” (“Studiul unor straturi subțiri și nanostructuri orientate spre electronică”), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Felicia Iacomi at the Faculty of Physics, Al. I. Cuza University, Iași, Romania.
Daniel Moraru attended the defense remotely as an external committee member.
The thesis contains unique aspects related to codoped nanostructures and nanodevices in Si, based on results obtained during Erasmus Plus Research mobilities carried out by at the Research Institute of Electronics, Shizuoka University, mostly in our lab. We appreciate the intensive efforts for understanding the device physics and for detailed measurements, as well as the careful analysis guided by Prof. Iacomi.
