On November 12, we organized the 26th Takayanagi Kenjiro Memorial Symposium at the Hamamatsu Campus of Shizuoka University. It was a good opportunity to learns from invited speakers and winners of the Takayanagi Awards about their insightful research around the theme of this year’s symposium: Towards Advanced Imaging Science Creation.
Among the speakers, we had the pleasure to host Dr. Sejeong Kim, Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne, whose PhD student is also currently visiting our lab for several months. Dr. Kim gave an interesting talk on “All-2D materials nanophotonics”, in the session chaired by Daniel Moraru.
We appreciate the visit and for the interactions. We hope that this event, organized by the Research Institute of Electronics with the support of the Takayanagi Foundation for Electronic Science and Technology, can enhance scientific interactions for future collaborations, in Japan and abroad.
