Welcome to the terahertz sensors laboratory led by Saroj R. Tripathi in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Shizuoka University, Hamamatsu, Japan. In our lab, we are working on the science and technology of high-frequency electromagnetic waves known as terahertz waves. These waves are known to have enormous potential in sensing and imaging technologies and can be implemented in multidisciplinary fields such as micro/nanoelectronics, biophotonics, optoelectronics, mechatronics, and next-generation information and communication technology.
