The Advanced Functional Materials and Devices (AFMD) conference series has rapidly emerged as a premier platform for cutting-edge research in materials science and nanotechnology. The first and second editions, successfully hosted at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India, in 2024 and 2026, brought together leading scientists, researchers, and innovators from across the globe, highlighting significant advancements in advanced materials and device technologies. Building on this strong legacy, the third edition AFMD:GM-2026 will be hosted at Shizuoka University, Hamamatsu, Japan, a valued academic partner of the AFMD series. This edition aims to set new benchmarks by offering a dynamic and interactive platform featuring over 100 oral and poster presentations. It will provide an exceptional opportunity for participants to present their latest research, exchange ideas, and engage with a diverse international community of scientists, academicians, industry experts, and students. With a strong interdisciplinary focus, AFMD:GM-2026 is committed to fostering global collaborations, accelerating innovation, and shaping impactful research directions in advanced functional materials, next-generation devices, and emerging frontiers of nanotechnology.
