| November, 2025: 静大理学部のScience Labo
This November, we were thrilled to welcome students from Fuji High School to the Science Labo program offered by the Faculty of Science at Shizuoka University. Dr. Dur led four dynamic sessions of “Coding in English”, where students explored programming while practicing English in a fun, interactive way. The feedback was fantastic—everyone enjoyed the challenge and creativity! And we’re not stopping here! This year, the Scientific English Communication Contest organized by the Creative Science Course will return to a face-to-face format. Similar to previous years, the contest will consist of two phases: a 3-minutes poster pitching session during which the presenters will introduce their poster, followed by a poster presentation in the afternoon. Below, you will find information about the contest, including the list of presenters and their topics. All students and faculty are welcome to join us! |

| September, 2023:
This year, for the Global Field Trip (短期グロバル研修) organized by the CSC, we went to New Zealand with a group of eight enthusiastic boys! They really enjoyed the English classes in the morning and the free time in the afternoon. They also thoroughly enjoyed visiting the NIWA research center over the weekend. It was a great experience that we plan to repeat in the coming years. |
