This April, we had the pleasure of having as a guest, at Shizuoka University (SU), Dr. Mariana Neamțu, Research Professor at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University (ICI, UAIC), from Iasi, Romania. The visit was supported by the Erasmus Plus training mobility program, which offers a good framework for raising awareness and opening discussions for future projects between SU and UAIC.
It was a good chance for everyone to explore not only the research work done in our groups, but also more broadly at the Research Institutes, thus opening more interest for various other exchange opportunities.
It was also a pleasure to have with us, even though for short time only, other colleagues affiliated to UAIC, including Dr. Flavius Solomon and Dr. Nicu Sprincean – the latter on an Erasmus Plus teaching mobility to the Faculty of Economics. We appreciate the visit to Hamamatsu Campus, despite your busy schedules, along with Prof. Yusuke Matsuzawa from Shizuoka Campus.
Hopefully, this first experience can trigger more interactions between Shizuoka University and many excellent researchers of UAIC, with possible extensions for the Inter-Academia community as well.
