For a period of about 5 months, Mr. Jeygopi Panisilvam (Jey-san), PhD student from University of Melbourne, has visited our lab as a Special Research PhD student within our Graduate School of Science and Technology (GSST). He benefited from a scholarship provided through the University of Melbourne and from the support of Assoc. Prof. Sejeong Kim as a PhD coordinator.
We hope that the experiences in taking some courses, interacting with our students in experiments and seminars, and exploring various aspects of Japanese science, traditions, and culture can bring some value to this medium-term stay and to the PhD course overall. Thank you for the visit and for the ideas shared in discussions and collaborative experiments. Looking forward from now to the follow up of this interaction and to your smooth completion of the PhD course at the University of Melbourne.
Many thanks also to the administration of Shizuoka University, particularly GSST, for all procedures related to this visit.
Best wishes from our group at the Research Institute of Electronics / Faculty of Engineering / Graduate School of Science and Technology, Shizuoka University!
Looking forward to meet again!
