A new exchange program has just been completed in our lab. For two months, Ms. Titiksha Dixit, final-year undergraduate student at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, stayed in our lab for studying single-electron tunneling in our silicon nano-devices as part of her graduation project. It was a period of new learning, active discussions and hard work on measurements and analysis, together with our team. Several connections were formed by common research actions, hopefully lasting as seeds for future collaborations.

We also had several opportunities to exchange culture and tradition insights from the diverse backgrounds of our lab. Titiksha-san kindly shared information and impressions of India, especially from her home city of Lucknow, a historical and culture-rich city, the capital of the Uttar Pradesh region. Such insights opened up renewed interest from our group to experience India in the future.

Thanks are due to the SRM-IST colleagues for encouragement of such mobilities and to the staff of the Faculty of Engineering for accommodating such a new case with smooth procedures.
All the best for the graduation efforts and hope to meet again on a next opportunity!
