For several days, we welcomed at Shizuoka University, both at Shizuoka Campus and at Hamamatsu Campus, a delegation of Iasi University of Life Sciences (IULS), Romania.
The delegation consisted of Prof. Liviu-Dan Miron, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and International Relations at IULS, and Dr. Iuliana Motrescu, Associate Professor at IULS and a Double Degree Program (DDP) PhD graduate between Shizuoka University and Alexandru Ioan Cuza University.
The visit was supported by the Erasmus+ Mobility Program and resulted in multiple interactions with students and staff on both campuses.

It was nice to have such opportunities for students and professors to learn more about Romania, Iași, IULS, and the research carried out at IULS, but also to discuss with many colleagues possible future projects and developments between our Universities.
Hopefully, such intensive interactions can convert into meaningful ideas, fruitful collaborations, and active exchanges between the two institutions, generally strengthening the relations between Iași and Hamamatsu, Shizuoka.

Thanks to all who attended several events coordinated with the IULS visitors and, of course, thanks to Assoc. Prof. Iuliana Motrescu and Prof. Liviu-Dan Miron for the visit and interactions. Looking forward to the next activities and interactions with colleagues from IULS!
