Shizuoka University, Health Care Center

Welcome to Shizuoka University．Primary care and annual health examination services are provided by Shizuoka University，Health Care Center．While you live in Shizuoka，We wish you good health to help you excel in your studies．We are here to serve your preventive health needs and to help you if you have an illness or injury．We offer the following services．Our services are absolutely free．

Our Services

l． Annual Health Cheek Examination
Health Care Center provides annual health check examination for students and international students．Health check examination includes urinalysis（protein，blood and glucose），peripheral blood analysis
（lipid profile，function of liver and kidney，red blood cell etc.），
Chest X-ray and physical examination by university physicians．
Students are strongly encouraged to undergo this examination to check health conditions.
If we find something abnormal，we will take care of them．If more examinations are needed，we will notify specific clinics or hospitals．This examination also enables us to issue the certification of your health conditions．
In autumn，we also provide health check examinations for international students who have not undergone examinations in spring．

2．Consultation for individuals about Physical or Mental Health
In our center，there are two physicians，one psychiatrist，one orthopedist，one counselor and 4 nurses．
If you feel concern about physical or mental conditions，feel free to come and consult with us．
Your privacy is strictly protected．

Health Care Center is located in the center of campus of Shizuoka University .
※Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 16:30
　Saturday, Sunday and public holidays holiday is closing
※There is a change due to health diagnostic implementation and lectures and conference
